We are working on a programme of trips, tours and talks, designed to be of interest to researchers all over Yorkshire. If you have any suggestions, or a particular place you would like to visit, please let us know, so that we may be able to include it in the programme

If you want to spend all your time in the archives, that's OK. If you just want to look at the scenery and walk where your ancestors walked, that's OK too.

Hello Everyone
Two weeks in July 2011 - You can come for one week or two

Accommodation is at the University of York. This year we will be using the very new accommodation at Heslington East, where all rooms are en suite and have internet access.

As many people who attend our gatherings have to spend a lot of money just to get here, this very affordable accommodation is just the thing! The added bonus is that the Borthwick Institute is only a few minutes walk away!

York is about 10 minutes on the bus, and the bus stop a few minutes walk from the accommodation. Buses are approximately every ten minutes.
